Dr. Adam Weaver

Assistant Instructor

Adam earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Dickinson College in 2001 and his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2005 from the University of Maryland, Baltimore.  His clinical approach is heavily centered on manual therapy, while also integrating the latest principles of functional training and pain science.  He has advanced through the Institute of Physical Art curriculum. He is currently advancing through NAIOMT and DNS coursework.  In 2011, he began teaching Dry Needling as an assistant instructor with KinetaCore┬«.

Adam also has a strong interest in health and fitness and is highly trained in golf-specific fitness and rehabilitation through the Titleist Performance Institute, as well as Kettlebell Training, Olympic Lifting, and Functional Movement Screen (FMS) and Selective Functional Movement Assessment methodologies.  Adam treats patients at Connecticut Children's Medical Center in their sports medicine program.  He lives in Simsbury, CT with his wife Nicole and 2 sons, Tyler and Drew.  When not working, he enjoys all sports, specifically golf, tennis and outdoor activities.
