Alexis DPT

Assistant Instructor

Alexis earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2008 from Regis University and has been a Certified Pilates Instructor since 2001.  She has continued her education in the areas of Spinal Manipulation, Muscle Energy techniques, Kinesiotaping, Women's Health and the Selective Functional Movement Assessment.  She specializes in treatment of spine and pelvic dysfunctions across the lifespan, with emphasis in the pregnant and post-partum population.

Alexis is co-owner of Body Structure and Function in Denver, Colorado, where she lives and practices.  She has been integrating Functional Dry Needling┬« since 2010 and joined the KinetaCore┬« team as an assistant instructor in 2011, assisting with Level 1 and the Pelvic Floor module.  Alexis, her husband Whit and their two boys love experiencing the Rocky Mountains by way of hiking or skiing, but also by enjoying family time at the playground or zoo.
