Dr. Mia Ramsey

Mia Ramsey is a physical therapist at an outpatient clinic in beautiful Fort Collins, Colorado. She earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Northern Arizona University in 2002. Since then her primary focus has been in orthopedics, and she enjoys a specialty in prenatal and postpartum patients. She has always enjoyed the patient education aspect of her clinical work and is thrilled to carry that into educating her peers in Functional Dry Needling. Previous professional teaching experience includes lab assisting in Kinesio Taping courses, and she has also led some Kinesio Taping workshops. Mia's continuing education studies include the APTA's OB, Prenatal and Postpartum courses, SFMA, McKenzie, Mulligan, Postural Restoration Institute, and Therapeutic Neuroscience Education among others. She is also a certified prenatal yoga instructor. She has completed all four of the foundational and clinical applications KinetaCore Courses and has been using Functional Dry Needling in her practice since 2011. She started instructing with KinetaCore in 2012. She is passionate about sharing this career-changing technique with other professionals and can't imagine practicing physical therapy without it! Mia is married to a saint who teaches Middle School, and they have two amazing daughters and two goofy dogs.
