Originally from Florida, Seth earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL after gaining his Bachelor of Health Science degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville. Seth developed interest in physical therapy during his time as a collegiate athlete at the University of Florida where he played baseball for the Gators. It was there that he took interest in the finesse needed to rehab these athletes back to top performers and upon becoming a physical therapist, believed it to be important in gaining his certification as a strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS, NSCA) to further his knowledge of programming these patients back to “return to sport” status. KinetaCore’s Functional Dry Needling courses were the next step to add a game changing state-of-the-art treatment to the proverbial “toolbox”. As a professional, Seth worked as a clinic manager for the largest in-state orthopedic physician owned practice in Virginia which allowed him immediate access to a large pre- and post-operative population of patients. Nothing made Seth happier than preventing those pre-operative patients from becoming post-operative patients and dry needling played a very important role in achieving this outcome. While keeping tune with an athletic population in Virginia, Seth had the opportunity to return to the world of baseball and solely treat a professional athletic population. Now being a part of the rehab staff for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Seth has developed his knowledge of dry needling application as not just a rehab tool but also as a prehab or preventative tool.
